Webinar recap: Building capacity for evidence use throughout the CQI process
All Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) systems, regardless of how they are implemented, must uphold the same basic CQI process–a Plan-Do-Study-Act cycle supported by evidence at every step. Therefore, as child welfare agencies take stock of their capacity for implementing CQI, a guiding question should be: What is the agency’s current capacity for evidence use and what can the agency do to strengthen its use of evidence?
In the Data Center’s last CQI webinar, Building Capacity for Evidence Use Throughout the CQI Process, we reviewed the role evidence plays at each stage of the Plan-Do-Study-Act cycle and how understanding the demand for evidence positions a child welfare agency to assess and build its capacity to implement CQI.
